GGateway recently launched a new Embedded Systems Development bootcamp for hardware engineers, focused on ARM-Cortex development. The bootcamp is designed to rapidly accelerate the trainees skill sets and prepare them to enter GGateway’s Long-term Training and Hiring Program. Eleven trainees have entered the bootcamp, most of them new graduates in technology majors.
Embedded systems feature combinations of computer hardware and software designed for a specific function, and are an integral part of our technologically advanced societies. Applications for the training include helping to design and develop industrial equipment, consumer electronics, automobiles, medical equipment, cameras, digital watches, household appliances, aeroplanes, agricultural and processing industry devices, vending machines and toys, and mobile devices.
By the end of the bootcamp, it is expected that trainees will be ready to be employed by clients in the hardware/Embedded Systems outsourcing industry. They will have the skills to build their own Embedded Systems Libraries, develop ARM-based products, and work within a team or individually to program any ARM-based microcontroller to a professional standard.
We can’t wait to see what these talented Palestinians do!
“We are enjoying the training, as it is being conducted by highly skilled instructors and it is task-based which makes the learning process more engaging. The program is the first of its kind in Palestine, which makes it exciting to be part of.”
